Innovent Technologies Produces ARC’s State of the Region Breakfast in Atlanta

by Innovent Technologies | Nov 6, 2026

Innovent Technologies was proud to serve as the audiovisual production partner for the Atlanta Regional Commission's (ARC) 2026 State of the Region Breakfast, held at the Georgia World Congress Center.

The annual gathering welcomed approximately 1,500 business leaders, elected officials, nonprofit representatives, and community stakeholders for a morning dedicated to the opportunities and challenges shaping metro Atlanta's future.

As an Atlanta-based AV production company, Innovent Technologies was honored to support a program that brings together so many of the individuals and organizations working to strengthen our region.

A Morning Focused on Metro Atlanta's Future

This year's State of the Region centered on the theme "Opportunity Rising," exploring how metro Atlanta can expand economic mobility and ensure that the region's continued growth creates opportunities for more residents.

During the program, ARC Executive Director and CEO Anna Roach announced the launch of Opportunity Rising, a regional coalition focused on addressing barriers to economic advancement.

The event also highlighted findings from the 2026 Metro Atlanta Speaks survey, which identified housing affordability as the region's leading concern for the second consecutive year. Transportation, economic opportunity, and quality of life were among the other issues discussed throughout the morning.

Additional programming included a keynote address from Southern Company President and CEO Chris Womack and the What's Next ATL speaker series, which explored the roles that businesses, organizations, and community leaders can play in creating meaningful change.

The event also recognized individuals, initiatives, and projects contributing to the region's progress through the Regional Excellence Awards and Harry West Visionary Leadership Award.

Together, these conversations underscored the importance of collaboration between the public, private, and nonprofit sectors as metro Atlanta continues to grow.

Supporting the Message Through Event Production

For an event of this scale, audiovisual production plays an important role in helping speakers communicate clearly while keeping attendees connected to the program.

Innovent Technologies provided comprehensive AV production services across audio, video, lighting, and staging, supporting the presentation of the State of the Region program inside the Georgia World Congress Center.

The stage featured large-format video displays, branded graphics, and professional lighting that complemented the Opportunity Rising theme. IMAG (image magnification) camera feeds displayed live, close-up views of presenters on large screens throughout the ballroom, helping attendees follow the program from across the venue.

Colorful architectural lighting extended beyond the stage, adding depth and visual interest throughout the ballroom while creating a cohesive setting for the morning's presentations.

From the opening remarks through the awards presentations, the production supported a varied program of speeches, video content, and live recognition.

Producing a conference of this scale at the Georgia World Congress Center requires careful coordination among event planners, venue personnel, and technical teams. As discussed in our guide to planning AV production at the Georgia World Congress Center, preparation is essential when working within large convention environments.

While much of the technical work takes place behind the scenes, its purpose is straightforward: to ensure the people onstage can share their message effectively with the audience.

Proud to Support Events That Make an Impact

At Innovent Technologies, we believe the value of event production extends beyond the equipment, staging, and technology involved.

Some events celebrate milestones. Others bring people together to exchange ideas, recognize achievements, or discuss decisions that will influence their communities for years to come.

ARC's State of the Region represents an especially meaningful example of that work.

As a company based in metro Atlanta, we recognize the importance of the conversations taking place at events like this. Discussions surrounding housing, transportation, infrastructure, and economic opportunity directly affect the communities where our employees, clients, and neighbors live and work.

We're proud to support events that bring these conversations to the forefront and give regional leaders a platform to share their perspectives.

For our team, contributing our production experience to an event with such regional significance reflects what we value most about our work: helping organizations communicate important ideas and bring people together around a shared purpose.

Thank You to Our Partners and Production Team

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Atlanta Regional Commission and the many event planners, technicians, speakers, and attendees who contributed to this year's State of the Region Breakfast.

Large-scale events depend on the collaboration of many individuals, and we're grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the teams who helped make this program possible.

Innovent Technologies looks forward to continuing its work with organizations throughout Atlanta and nationwide, providing audiovisual production for conferences, corporate gatherings, and events that bring important conversations to the stage.
