Innovent Technologies was honored with two awards at the 2026 Allie Awards, an evening recognizing excellence across Georgia’s hospitality, live events, and technical production industries. Hosted by The Allie Foundation of Georgia at Hotel Phoenix Atlanta, the annual event brings together production companies, venues, planners, designers, hospitality leaders, technical crews, and creative professionals from across the state to celebrate the work shaping live experiences throughout Georgia.
This year, Innovent Technologies received recognition for:
- Best Staging and Rigging Design for the Atlanta Regional Commission State of the Region event at the Georgia World Congress Center
- Best Technical Production (Social/Wedding/Mitzvah) for IHG Night at the Fox inside the Egyptian Ballroom at the Fox Theatre Atlanta
The Allie Awards have recognized excellence within Georgia’s events industry since 1991 while also supporting the future of the industry through scholarships, mentorship, and educational initiatives for emerging hospitality and live event professionals throughout the state.
For our team, the evening represented more than individual project recognition. It reflected the level of planning, technical execution, and creative problem-solving required behind successful live event environments.

Best Staging and Rigging Design
ARC State of the Region at Georgia World Congress Center

Innovent Technologies received the award for Best Staging and Rigging Design for technical production support of the Atlanta Regional Commission State of the Region event at the Georgia World Congress Center.
State of the Region was structured as a fast-moving executive program where pacing mattered as much as presentation quality. The event shifted continuously between keynote presentations, panel discussions, awards recognition, and video-driven moments without allowing the room to lose focus or momentum between segments.
Rather than treating staging, rigging, lighting, LED, projection, and audio as separate technical systems, the environment was designed as a unified production framework capable of supporting multiple program formats without requiring physical stage resets throughout the evening.
A defining feature of the production was the custom LED arch structure integrated directly into the stage design. The structure became the architectural anchor of the room, helping establish visual consistency across a ballroom-scale environment while preserving clean audience sightlines throughout the program.
Achieving that scale required detailed CAD development, engineered rigging layouts, trim planning, and precise coordination throughout installation and show execution.

The production timeline itself added another layer of complexity. Installation, programming, rehearsals, live execution, and strike all occurred within an accelerated schedule while coordinating closely with venue operations and technical teams at the Georgia World Congress Center. Recognition from the Allie Awards ultimately reflected not only the scale of the environment itself, but also the level of planning, timing, and behind-the-scenes execution required to keep the program moving seamlessly throughout the evening.
What makes recognition from the Allie Awards special is that it comes from peers across Georgia’s live events industry who understand the level of planning and execution required behind productions like these. We’re proud of the team that brought it together and grateful for the trust and collaboration that helped bring the environment to life.

What ultimately made the project successful was the way the environment naturally supported the flow and pacing of the program itself. The staging and rigging systems became part of the rhythm of the event, helping transitions feel intentional while maintaining clarity and audience focus throughout the evening.
Best Technical Production (Social/Wedding/Mitzvah)
IHG Night at the Fox at Fox Theatre Atlanta

Innovent Technologies was also recognized with the award for Best Technical Production (Social/Wedding/Mitzvah) for IHG Night at the Fox, a ballroom transformation inside the Egyptian Ballroom at the Fox Theatre Atlanta.
The production environment needed to feel visually substantial and immersive while still preserving the atmosphere and architectural character of one of Atlanta’s most recognizable venues. Every production decision had to work within the identity of the ballroom rather than compete against it.
Projection, lighting, scenic, audio, and rigging systems were designed to operate cohesively across the ballroom while complementing the venue’s architecture and overall guest experience. The environment incorporated large-format projection systems, intelligent lighting fixtures, scenic drape integration, distributed audio reinforcement, wireless microphone infrastructure, and coordinated show control throughout the ballroom.

Installation, rehearsals, and live execution required multiple departments to work simultaneously throughout the venue while adapting to the operational realities of a historic ballroom environment.
Rather than overwhelming the venue with production infrastructure, the systems were designed to work in harmony with the room itself. Lighting, scenic, projection, and audio elements helped shape the atmosphere of the evening while preserving the character and visual identity of the Egyptian Ballroom.
Projects inside venues like the Fox Theatre require a different level of restraint and attention to detail because the production environment has to support the experience without overpowering the venue itself. Recognition from the Allie Awards is especially meaningful because it comes from professionals across the live events industry who understand the level of thought, planning, and execution required to create an environment that feels natural within a space like this.
